Innovate Maine's mission is simple: to serve the needs of those who serve the greater public good.

Eric Dimbleby, founder of Innovate Maine, has worked in all aspects of the IT field for almost twenty years: end user support, programmer, database administrator, system designer, IT Director, and Chief Information Officer. His understanding of the top to bottom operational problems of organizations, particularly non-profits in Maine, is unsurpassed.

On why Innovate Maine is not like other "tech" organizations:

"From 2006 to 2017, I was the IT Director and eventually the Chief Information Officer for a medium-to-large non-profit in Maine. In that time, I learned about the many great ventures that Maine's non-profits engage in, both in our community and abroad. I've always had a passion for the efforts, approach, and dedication that I see in Maine's non-profit world. It is truly an integrated family - one which I hope to coordinate with on a deeper level, through various Innovate Maine events in 2018. Stay tuned!"
